Ruth was our photographer for our legal ceremony and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Her communication in the run-up to the day was super clear, and then on the day she talked us through how she works, and what we could expect. This was great as neither of us had ever had professional pictures taken before so had no clue what we were doing! She immediately put us at ease and that is so clearly reflected in the photos.

We had given her some general ideas of what we wanted, but also were happy to give her free rein and she absolutely nailed it. She had great ideas for shots we could get, and gave us really clear instructions on how to make those shots happen. She took our ideas on board but also brought her own creativity into it, which was very much appreciated as it brought about some gorgeous photos that we never would have thought of ourselves.

She was also just snapping away when we didn’t even notice, so we ended up with some fab candid pics, which was exactly what we had hoped for. The whole day just felt really natural (and again, this shows in the photos - they look so so natural), and we forgot she was even there at times!

The turnaround for getting our pictures was so quick and she was happy to re-edit any of the photos - but we didn’t avail of this offer as we were over the moon with everything.

She was so professional throughout the whole process, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone!

When I contacted Ruth following our engagement it was to excitedly ask if she would attend our wedding as a covert photographer. You see, we knew, having seen her work, just how magic Ruth captures moments as they happen, as they feel.

Staged photographs just aren't our thing, and so I knew if anyone could capture the magic and important moments of the day, as they unfolded, it would be Ruth.

In the end, she attended under the guise of a guest only, but with a camera in hand. We trusted so much in her talent and ability, that we didn't book anyone else, and the images reflect that trust.

When we look back over our album, all we see are the real faces of loved ones, the laughter, the mishaps, the messy, authentic and happy events of our wedding day.
