I first met Ruth when she was researching and creating her new business (Sersha). What are my impressions as I have got to know Ruth? Ruth is a natural communicator. She is very empathetic - she listens very carefully, empathising deeply with people and thus empowering herself with a deep understanding of different points of view – the why, what and how things may need to be addressed. Her quality of research and thinking is reflective of her natural passion, her healthy curiosity and her critical mindset. These traits manifest very well when she is collaborating - she embraces collaboration, she is a great team player and naturally creates a healthy environment in which opportunities and problems can be addressed effectively. I like her courage, her ability to speak up and to be heard but also balanced by that ability to listen to other people’s points of view.

Ruth has an unwavering focus on the outcome – the end game. In summary, she is resilient and is prepared to get into the detail and put the effort in to transform concepts into desirable, feasible and commercial propositions.
